Born on September 22, 1983, in Moers, Germany, I moved to Charleston in 2013 with my husband, who was sent by his company. We welcomed our first child in 2015 and moved into our lovely home, surrounded by big old live oak trees and marshland, in 2016. Our second child arrived in 2018, and despite struggles with breastfeeding my first daughter, I successfully breastfed both children until they were four years old. In 2022, I obtained my birth doula certification and joined the Professional Doulas of Charleston. I also earned my pregnancy and postpartum massage certification in 2024.

 

Alongside my doula work, I enjoy baking part-time at a coffee shop and love yoga, reading, kayaking, enjoying winter campfires, going to the beach in summer, and hiking in the mountains.
